Home-School Agreement

Ready

Respectful

Responsible

The Academy will

Ensure that the Academy is a safe and caring environment for learning, with well planned lessons that are delivered to meet the needs of all of our pupils

Treat each student fairly and with respect, communicating with parents with courtesy and modelling the Coop Ways of Being: ‘do what matters most, show you care, succeed together and be yourself always’

Provide quality teaching for every student, challenging and supporting students to be responsible for their learning and providing clear feedback to parents/carers

Parents/Carers will

Ensure that my child attends school nearly every day, arriving before 8.30 each day and wearing correct school uniform

Support the Academy’s work with my child, including any consequences that may be required, always encouraging respect and communicating with school staff with courtesy

Encourage and support my child to complete their learning to the best of their ability and communicate any concerns or difficulties to school so that we are aware how best to support them, rather than contacting them by mobile phone during the school day, as this undermines the school

Pupils will

Do what matters most, attending school nearly every day in correct uniform, arriving before 8.30 so that I am ready to learn at the start of Period 1

Show self-respect and be respectful to others, accepting differences and modelling the Coop Ways of Being: ‘do what matters most, show you care, succeed together and be yourself always’

Do what matters most by focusing my efforts on my learning and completing all class and home work to the best of my ability
