At Co-op Academy Walkden, we have a multitude of extra-curricular activities that not only widen learning experiences but also make academy life more enjoyable.

We have lots to choose from and something for everyone. At lunchtimes, we offer a range of extra-curricular sports alongside a broad range of non-sporting activities which students sign up for weekly during Personal Development.

We also have a range of after-school extra-curricular activities including very successful sports teams, a Cadet Unit and the opportunity to take part in our annual dramatic production.

We offer a variety of trips and visits, both during and after academy hours, and we invite external visitors to talk to our students on various subjects throughout the year.
